Call for Papers
Special Issue on the Mexican Economy
Estudios Económicos welcomes papers presenting novel research focused on the Mexican economy relating to the issues of corruption, crime and violence; economic growth and development; environmental economics; industrial organization; informality, labor and migration; and trade and productivity. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to present their work at a companion conference to be held in the fall of 2020 at El Colegio de México in Mexico City. Limited financial support for graduate students will be available.
Guest Editors:
Gerardo Esquivel (Banco de México and El Colegio de México) and Susan Parker (University of Maryland).
Submission Guidelines:
- Papers can either be submitted electronically via the article submissions website: http://editorialexpress.com/estec and select article type "special issue paper" or by emailing the Managing Editor, María del Rocío Contreras, at revista.cee@colmex.mx.
- Submitted papers can be written in either English or Spanish and should be original unpublished research that is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- All submissions to the special issue will be peer-reviewed.
